EOA's Customization Strategy
Customization objectives
To deliver spot-on innovative programmes on any of the five continents by expressing utmost respect for national cultures and local traditions.
To make each lecture, course or seminar participant feel that the contents and delivery methodology reflect the information and expectations spelled out by clients and participants in preliminary surveys.
To take into account the basic differences between the cultures of public and private organizations, junior and senior audiences, and the languages and performance criteria of industries and markets and, in all cases, to show respect for clients’ current organizational structures.
Customization of lectures-testimonies
Some clients may prefer to suggest that some of their own employees prepare customized testimonies likely to echo the current concerns and challenges of their organization; EOA is prepared to assist the appointed lecturers during the preparation of their presentations.
In specific countries, clients may prefer that EOA select local guest lecturers.
If a course or seminar is focused on a specific industry, guest lecturers may have to be considered as experts of this industry; EOA is already prepared for such customization.
Customization of course and seminar contents
The content of a course or seminar will always be adapted by EOA to clients’ specifics on the basis of Teaching Needs Assessment tools, the global customization ratio oscillating between 20% and 30%.
In practice, an EOA trainer is authorized to entirely skip one or two course or seminar modules, and to make relevant additions if either the participants or the trainers wish to spend more time on specific issues.
Most frequent customization requests expected by EOA: emphasis on the role of EOPs in terms of Corporate Governance (EOP’s direct communication with Board of Directors and Executive Committees) and catalysis of Change Management in the organization.
Customization of module duration and methodology
The duration of the course or seminar modules featured in the following pages is given only as an indication of the general timeline which is associated with the delivery of contents by qualified EOA trainers. In practice, each trainer may modify the duration of a module.
The methodology of course or seminar delivery is also designed to be flexible. In some instances, trainers may decide to focus on group workshop methodology, or open discussions between participants, or innovative slide shows.
